The short version: nito reads the code and designs you connect so it can review them. We do not sell anything, we do not train models on your code, and you can ask us to delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are

nito is operated by Alterok, Inc., a Delaware corporation, who is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Your account. You sign in with GitHub, so we receive your GitHub user ID, username, avatar and email. We never see your password.
  • What you connect. Source code from the repositories you choose and the Figma files you approve, plus what nito makes from them: a component index, screenshots and review findings.
  • What you send us. Access requests and emails.
  • Usage data. Pages viewed, actions taken, browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and error logs.

3. How we use it

To run reviews and show you the results, to keep the service secure and working, to answer you, and to learn which parts of nito are useful.

Some findings need a judgement, such as whether new UI should have used a component you already have. For those, nito sends the relevant excerpts of your code to an AI model provider. We do not use your code or designs to train models.

4. Analytics and cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in. We use Google Analytics on this website and PostHog in the product to understand how they are used. Both may set cookies. You can block them in your browser and nito keeps working.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it with the providers that run nito for us, such as hosting, database, AI models and analytics, with GitHub and Figma when you connect them, and with authorities when the law requires it. Some providers are outside the EU. In that case we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. Keeping and deleting it

We keep your data while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we delete your data within 30 days, except what the law makes us keep.

7. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority or to the one in your country.

8. The rest

nito is not meant for anyone under 13. When this policy changes we update the date at the top.
